I call them Mom & Dad.
He calls mine by their first name.

Its funny that you have as a choice, try to avoid calling them cause I thought I was aweful for doing thsi.

I call them by first names. I doubt I could ever call them mom & dad. Especially my MIL

My DH calls my parents Mr. and Mrs. "D". I try to avoid calling my in-laws anything...we don't have a good enough relationship to call them Mom and Dad and I don't feel comfortable calling them by their first names.

I try not to call them anything, but if I have to I call them Mom and Dad... but yes it feels weird....

i tried avoiding calling them anything for sooooooo long. Then the day we got married we were sooo happy that my DH andi both called our in laws mom and dad in the moment. that just started it form there........

My parents want DH to call them mom and dad, but so far he hasn't called them anything b/c I think he isn't ready to say mom and dad yet. MIL said I can call her by her first name and FIL hasn't said anything. I haven't called him anything.

We both try to avoid using Mom and Dad because it still feels weird. But that's what we use.
And actually I call his step-mom by her first name because she asked me to (she's only like 10 years older than me! )

MY DH calls my parents mom and pop. He calls everyone aunt, uncle, grandma, etc. I call his mom nothing!

My DH's parents are both deceased

He calls my parents by their first names, as have all my BF's in the past. They insist on it.

I call my MIL by her first name, but only because she totally busted me on it. She said I never call her anything...she doesn't care what I call her, just say something

I avoid it with my FIL because I don't feel comfortable calling him by his first name (Valentino...it's too weird for me) and definitely not Dad.

We each call them by their fist names. I call his Grandma, "Grandma" and he calls my aunts and uncles "aunt" and "uncle". I call his aunts and uncles by just first name cause that's what DH and his brother call them.

Funnily enough, DH and I had this conversation last week. For as long as I can remember, my dad called my grandparents "mom" and "dad". I asked what his dad called his grandmother. FIL calls her by her first name.
I can't picture calling my IL's mom and dad but maybe that will change once we have children.

I call them by their first names - I wish I could call them mom and dad but I just couldn't do it - it felt too strange! Maybe once we have kids it will change.

My DH had a hard time calling my parents anything until the other day (after over one year of marriage) he finally called my mom on her birthday and said her first name.
