If however, you dont want to do fabric on the wall....I think you need something on your nightstand with height and drama to balance out the heaviness of the window on the opposite side..

maybe some really cool tall branches in a funky vase.

Well, if my opinion matters I enjoy the whole curtain wall.....then still do the shelf with saying above it!

Eddiesmommy: Thanks Melissa. I love the curtain idea, but my window isn't in the middle of the wall. Don't you think it would look funny when the curtain was pulled back. It would be like "peek a boo.....here I am". Sorry! I do love the idea though, but I just can't picture it in my room.

Oh decisions! I hate being OCD myself and wanting balance.

What do you think of just the saying centered above the bed and the shelves on the other wall with frames? I have three shelves for that wall. Small, Med & Large. This room is driving me nuts at this point. I like the shutter idea too. But maybe I can get my DH to put the brackets closer to window frame and than the curtains wouldn't hang past the bed. I might have to try that. DH won't like it though.
