What is your one year old eating?
DD turned one on Sunday. She is not a fan of pureed food anymore, so the doctor said to just give her what we eat. What are some of your little ones favorite foods? Esp. lunch. Thanks in advance!

Re: What is your one year old eating?
i would love to get some ideas as well DD turned one last week, we are going to our PEDiatrian on thrusday so hopefully he will give us some more ideas
for breakfast DD gets fruit with yogurt, this is mostly everyday sicne she loves it, i try pancakes sometimes but shes not a big fan
lunch time.... she usually gets a sandwhich, with turkey and cheese on bread
dinner time.... sometimes what we're having , sometimes pured (jared food) but shes not a big fan of jared food, she'd rather have what we're eating.
she still gets about four 6oz bottles during the day. (similac + oatmeal mixed)
escp now when shes teething shes so cranky, she doesnt eat a whole lot

Re: What is your one year old eating?
DD was 11 months yesterday. Thank goodness she's not a picky eater and lets me be creative. Some of her favorites are: Egg yolks (haven't done whites- looking forward to pancakes and waffles) Tofu (so easy- mix with anything- yogurt, fruit, cheese, etc) Cheese sticks cottage cheese chicken & avocado (or either alone) hummus (on bread, on crackers) ricotta cheese with pasta any fruit any veggie (prefer frozen- loves peas, broccoli, carrots esp) potatoes with cheese sweet potatoes with cinamon roasted veggies (like squash, zucchini) brown rice with beans & yogurt whole wheat cus cus with some type of stewed veggie * Also going to try crock pot for some fall/ winter cooking
My meal planning thoughts are: Breakfast- dairy (like yogurt, cottage) with fruit and some cheerios, a cracker, some cereal mixed in Lunch- carb (such as bread, pasta) with veggie and fruit and maybe some dairy (ricotta, Neufchatel, etc) Dinner- protein, veggie and maybe fruit after
Snacks- usually i try to make up what she didn't have in her day. If she was light on veggies, I give her a handful of peas or some green beans. If she was light on carbs, give her a cracker and cheese, etc.
Have fun!!

I hope this helps! Good luck!

Re: What is your one year old eating?
DD is one and she eats for breakfast pancakes, waffles or french toast sticks and some kind of fruit. Lunch she usually has either mac and cheese, nuggets and tater tots, turkey and cheese, chicken or turkey hot dogs. She is good, eats usually what we eat. She loves her veggies, peas, string beans, broc, carrots.

Re: What is your one year old eating?
Tyler eats whatever we are eating.
He has pancakes, french toast, oatmeal, turkey, cheese, ham, bread, turkey burgers, cheeseburgers, grilled chicken, avocado, pasta, peas, corn, carrots, potatoes, ziti, meatballs, spinach pie, eggs, baked sweet potatoes. He will eat any fruit. And eats YoBaby
Basically whatever I make us to eat, he eats also.
