We have carpet. If I had my choice I would do wood and area rug or throw rugs. Our carpet was brand new so I just couldn't see ripping it out but when it's time for new carpet we will probably do the wood.

we have wood - we are in an apartment. when we get a house it will be wall to wall carpet in the bedroom - I think it is much warmer and homier than wood floors

I have some longer carpet. I wanted to get out of bed and have my feet melt into the floor. I LOVE my carpet. It's so soft and comfy.....

We have carpet...I think it gives a warmer feel to a bedroom instead of wood...although I do love the look of wood floors!
