I just went to search all the good TV shows on Demand that I used to watch when I was little; and was so excited to see they still air; so now I DVR them. Such a great feeling when watching them.

Fat Frog ice cream bar...I loved loved LOVED this when I was a kid. My fave.

I was at the card store the other day and at the register was packs of Garbage Pail Kids
I listen to the 80s and 90s stations on XM Radio
I have been watching ALF, Sister, Sister, Different Strokes, Full House, and the Brady Bunch on TV
I was in the library with my kids and saw all of the books that I used to read like Choose Your Own Ending books and Sweet Valley High

I love the sound of the halyards clinging on a mast reminds me of all of the sailing trips we took when we were younger.

What reminds you of your childhood?
My mom got a new bike and I was just trying it out this morning. I was saying to my sister how much it reminded me of our childhood to ride a bike up and down my parents' street. So funny to come home and see this post after that!

Small wonder...vicki the robot...
Out of this world...I def tried to put my fingers/hands together to stop the world...
Full house...my nieces watch the reruns now...I showed them what the cast looks like now...their minds were blown

-listening to B103. It used to always be playing at my BFF's house and I was there pretty much every day
-riding a bike
-bbq'ing at my dad's house which is where I grew up
-Where the Sidewalk Ends. I loved this book
-Scholastic news and being so excited to order
-the ice cream man
-twin pops. hated them and my parents would also tell me I didn't need the ice cream man because we had them
-Jaws on Nintendo
-man hunt
-80's music
Also, I now have a huge craving for Jello Pudding Pops so thanks to whoever mentioned them!

Since it's almost Halloween, I'm just digging up random old threads from the grave.... 
TV shows.... re-airing of old shows, the reboots (Match Game, Dune, Lost in Space, etc), continuing shows (Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, etc)

Music for sure....when I'm scanning through Sirius now and hear a song from the 70's/80's I'm thrown right back into specific moments and events from my childhood.

hearing the jingles of the Ice man
grapefruit ( my grandma serviced half with every holiday meal)
shasta cream soda my mom brought this on every car trip ( never had soda in the home)
adding, cereal fun pack, my mom also brought for every car trip only!! sweetened cereal was a treat

Playing in the water of an open fire hydrant, Saturday morning cartoons, sitting in a car going through a car wash, Flavor-Ice and Freezies, subway tokens, bodega heroes and hamburgers, quarter waters, Delancy Pool.
Eta for stores: blockbuster for Friday Movies, Channel hardware store, Woolworth, Roy Rogers
