We paid nothing for DS1 and DS2...now with two months left in this pregnancy, DH's insurance is changing and we'll have a hospital copay of 1,000 freaking dollars EACH for me and the baby. I'm annoyed.

The only thing we had to pay was the $300 or so for the anesthesiologist....he was out of network and because they billed the anesthesia and the Dr. as different charges, my insurance covered the anesthesia itself, but not the Dr. to administer it.... (I tried to fight - what was I supposed to do, admiinister it myself?)
Other than that, nothing...and during my pregnancy I had about 4-5 $18 co pays for OB, Sonos, etc.

varies greatly. for all of my ob appts (which were alot- i had twins which is considered high risk) and delivery ( c section) i paid less than $300. but if i were doing it now uinstead of 6 months ago it would be a lot more.

Never thought I’d be preggo this year
So about $3000 for her delivery, I guess…
Unfortunately I went to the ER just a week later and so now, all together it’s closer to $4500.
Which of course I can’t afford and I’m making payments

$300 for 3 1/2 days in hospital after c-section. I only payed co-pays for my ultrasound visits.

With DS we paid nothing. Our insurance has changed, though and this time we a have a $500 co-pay for hospital visits  . I know that's a small amount considering the actual cost of the hospital stay, but I'm still annoyed about it. At least I know up-front, though.

well i was in the hospital for a week before delivery with sonos and tests everyday, i had an emergency c section, and then my son stayed in the NICU for 73 days...all of this was billed for close to 200,000 and I paid $40 for a radiology bill!
