When Are You Planning to Stop Doing The Deed?

Just curious, you don't have to answer ... DH is still interested and I'm just one week from delivering! Chat Icon

I don't mind if it brings on labor earlier though!

Anyone want to share when they're gonna stop doing the deed? And if you're still doing it close to the due date are you doing it more to bring on labor?

As long as I still can physically (and have interest), if that means up until I deliver then so be it. It's getting kinda difficult though at 30 weeks already.

I'm only 29 weeks and its already getting difficult BUT we plan on going the long haul for as long as we can! the 6 weeks afterwards with nothing is going to be hard enough, we don't need to add anymore time on to that!

I'm with you on this. I have absolutely no desire. I feel bad for DH especially tonight when he was rubbing up against me. I wish I could do it, but I really have no desire. It doesn't help with I have an extremely active baby inside of me. I don't feel unattractive, I just don't know what's keeping me from doing it.

You do need to change up the position but it's totally possible even up to the day of labor as someone mentioned. :)

Without giving away TMI, your DH will likely say it feels abit *different* as you progress further along in the 9th month...

Re: When Are You Planning to Stop Doing The Deed?

not officially "stopped" but we haven't done it in weeks and I have little interest- mentally I want to, but physically it is uncomfortable during and honestly a little painful too- DH is wonderful and understanding about it!

ETA: I am 30 weeks now

God, at 15 weeks I get the desire like once every week and half. Otherwise, I have no interest. I can't see this getting any better!

Re: When Are You Planning to Stop Doing The Deed?

dont remember with DD#1, but i heard that it helps bring on labor so with DS after 37 weeks it was on the list of things to do every other day. DS was born at 38w 4d- dont know if it helped but it didnt hurt :)

Re: When Are You Planning to Stop Doing The Deed?

DH and I are still going strong....
I am 24 weeks and we still go at it at 3x a week...

Usually in the morning because by the end of the night I am popped....

But in the morning it is great...

I still feel cute and I must say I am happy that DH tries...

It makes me feel that he is still interested and I still "got it"

I dont know how it will be further along.... but I think we will still be active maybe not 3X but at least 1x a week....

He says he is trying to get enough to last for the time when its off limits....
