It didn't get out of hand, according to LIF he was banned for something else. This was stated on another thread...
As for the pope thread, I have no idea why it was pulled.
Regarding his description of the pope? It was something to the effect of "a little German guy with a pointy white hat". It may not be word for word but that was the general idea.
It's wasn't the nicest thing said, but I've certainly heard MUCH worse on these boards.

Yes, that is true... it wasn't like it was slurs or anything like that, it was just worded in a very condescending way, IMO.... and it was almost like, where is this coming from????? perhps he meant to compare the traffic from the Pope's visit to the traffic and congestion from the Sean Bell protests.
