where do you get the water you give your infant - tap, bottled, brita?

I know it should be flouride free and his food is all organic so I'd like to give him "healthy" water as well. I read Brita doesn't take out fkouride and not all bottled water is good for babies. What do you do?

From newborn up to 6 months we used bottled water or Brita... After that, it was whatever I had...

I have always used Poland Spring, we buy the big cases at BJ's for her

We use filtered tap water for both our boys. We also have a Poland Spring water cooler and will sometimes use that.

We used cooled, boiled water for our DD, as per our pediatrician. I honestly don't think it's necessary, but will listen for now, b/c she's so little. I think I will used bottled poland spring when I'm on the go with her, to make life easier.

Tap water run through a Brita pitcher.

DD drinks RTF but on the rare occasion that I have given her powered I use bottled water. Not sure why, because when she drinks water from her sippy cup I give her water filtered through our fridge.

In queens we used Brita filter, since moving to LI we use poland spring

Filtered tap water that I left in a pitcher on the counter.

You shouldn't use bottled water as it's not regulated at all unlike tap water which has to go through a bazillion tests. They've found anti-freeze in bottled water!

Ive been giving my DS bottled water. I will continue this till at least a year.

i lived in bklyn when they were infants and now in queens i always give my dds tap water

i used for formula distilled bottled water.

now i give her what i drink which is poland spring

Straight up tap water.

We had an under the sink filtration system installed. All drinking and cooking water comes from there.

you can even google and find testing they have done on the different brands of water and find out which one is "cleaner" or "best" if you are concerned about it

Brita most of the time. Sometimes bottle if thats what I had.

I give tap through brita. We live in queens. I thought water should have fluoride??

Flouride is added to most water systems in the United States. There aren't 100% direct cause and effects but there was a large increase in ADHD diganosis when Flouride was introduced as Treatment. The Flouride allows heavy metals in the water to flow more easily into the CNS which cause ADHD and other CNS problems.

I would highly filter any tap water, most water systems in the states are surprisingly contaminated. If your lazy like me, you can have water delivered that is guaranteed clean. Depending on your location, water quality varies drastically. I would recommend checking out your local water quality to get an idea of why you should filter your drinking water, especially for infants.
