DD is 2. we always have dinner together as a family. If DH isn't home than just DD and I .always at the dinner table. She is not allowed to eat in front of the TV and we almost never have TV on while having dinner. No food outside the kitchen. Most of the time she sits in her high chair, but sometimes (lately) on a regular chair and we let her depending what we are having. I'm sure things will change a bit as she gets older, but for now ....
OH and she is a good eater, not picky .

My girls are awesome eaters. We Always eat as a family at the kitchen table. They have incentive to finish, because once we are done, they can go play and/or watch TV. DH has been working nights for the past 1 1/2 years but the girls and I still sit and the table and enjoy our meals together.

Breakfast they usually eat with the tv on while I'm showering.
Lunch we eat together. The tv is on but we're usually talking over it.
Dinner we eat together. No tv.
We do the exact same thing.
