Where on Long Island would you live..
if you could move there tomorrow?
What are your reasons? (better commute time, cute houses, good school districts, things to do, proximity to the water, etc etc)

Re: Where on Long Island would you live..
To answer my own question.. I would to live in Cold Spring Harbor, but it's just too expensive.
I love the houses, the li sound, the cute little towns nearby, and the list goes onnn

I'd move back to Forest Hills....my commute would be so much easier and Forest Hills Gardens is ridiculously gorgeous.

I think I'd choose Manhasset so I'd have close access to the Americana!

Re: Where on Long Island would you live..
Since we still have jobs, honestly I love where we live right now in Glen Cove...I'd just buy a house right on the water instead of on the edge of town where we are now

I currently live in Sayville and don't think I'd want to leave. I would however, love to live in a big, old victorian closer to the water.

I live in Sayville and it's exactly where I want to be. I love the family friendly atmosphere, the main street, the schools. It's just right for me.

Re: Where on Long Island would you live..
I would love to be out east - if there was no commute.
if we can include Queens - i would agree with PP - Forest Hills Gardens or North Flushing in a sec.
