Which stores/restaurants do you wish Long Island had?
When visiting other states are there any stores/restaurants that you go to, that you wish Long Island had.
My best friend lives in the Charlotte, NC area and I go there about 3-4 times a year to visit. I love........
Kirklands-home furnishing store. Its amazing with such great prices. I'd take it any day over Home Goods.
Garden Ridge-They have everything there. I spend hours there every time I'm there.
Chick Fillet-Love that place and although I try to avoid fast food as much as possible, that place is somewhat healthy because they use real chicken and it tastes really good.

Its not so much that I personally want them here but rather Im just sick of seeing commercials for things we don't have, like for instance:
Sonic
or
Dairy Queen

all the resturants that they show commercials for here like sonic, dairy queen, jack in the box.

I also want to add Dennys. I agree with Dairy Queen also, but for me its a good thing, cause I have no self control with ice cream and would probably be fatter than what I am now.

Dairy Queen... without a doubt.
Also, miss Price Chopper. It's an upstate grocery chain. Used to do all my shopping there in college. Was recently upstate and they have this AWESOME gas advantage program. Bc of it, DH paid $1.59 for gas yesterday before we left (thank MIL!).

Also my cousin that lives in Cali keeps telling me how delish
In & Out Burger is, I want one over here!!
Of course Cracker Barrel, love them!!!!

me too! i was just going to post this!
Also, Wegman's grcoery store is awesome... they have them in PA and upstate NY.
I also love Turkey Hill stores... they're like 7-11's in PA, but they carry all the Turkey Hill ice-creams and iced teas.

those commercials are usually shown on CABLE channels like CNN that have national audiences, not just local.
