Why do people dislike Tim Tebow so much?
During the game last night, I noticed a ton of people on FB bashing Tim Tebow. Why do people dislike him? Do people just not like the Broncos or is it him specifically?

because he talks about Jesus and God. I personally have no dislike for him I think he is probably one of the better role models a kid who loves football could look up too.
My husband hates him because he is a bronco ... my husband who is a Raiders fan their rivals are the broncos.

From what I can gather, he did a pro-life commercial that aired during last year's Super Bowl and it didn't sit well with some. DH and my brother don't like him because they think he's a bad QB.

I don't! I think he's great & cute! Tom Brady on the other hand was a huge prickk bastid last night. First with that punt in the 4th Quarter, then he couldn't even shake Tim's hand. Jealousy is a MF'er!

i don't really get the dislike or in some cases hate. i heard a radio talk show that aired an audio clip of a sportcaster pretty much cursing him out for the praying.
i'm not a religious person but live and let live!

I don't hate him I am just annoyed by hearing about him 24/7. I don't think he is all that just because he wears his religion on his sleeve. Great that he believes in a higher power and has morals but I really don't care that much and am sick of hearing about him and all the people that are doing the Tebow kneel thing.

i have no problem with people believing in whatever they want, but I find it obnoxious that he has to bring up God/Jesus 30 times in every statement he makes. I am sorry, but I think God has way better things to do than help you win a football game.
I also question whether he actually believes what he is saying. He comes off as full of sh*t most of the time.

I love him, he seems like a really nice kid and worked hard to bring the team into the playoffs. I notice many people make fun of him bc he's a virgin and is religious. I think that's absolutely ridiculous. They should shut up and leave him alone. I think he's a great role model

Beside the religion thing, he is not a quarterback that should be starting in the NFL. He went on a streak of winning games for the team where people gave him gave him more credit then he deserves.
College, sure your great, but not in the pros. He means will with his attitude and work ethic which is why he is starting.

Jealousy. It's pretty funny how on a regular basis pro football players are arrested for drunk driving, beating thier spouses, drug possesion and a slew of other things, no one hates them. But let's hate the kid that has a strong faith. This world is so backwards and twisted.

a lot of people hate him because:
a. they think he's a horrible quarterback
b. they think his speaking of goD/religion all the time is obnoxious
c. they think that his being anti-gay and anti-abortion (and being very public about it) is horrible
d. a combination of some or all of the above
