Worst Mommy of the Week Award
goes to me!
I attempted to CIO with my 10 month old DS bc he has been waking at night and crying a little at bedtime (for last 3 weeks). Everyone here said he might be teething, I said nope, there are no signs of teething, hasn't gotten a tooth in 2 months.
Well muther FFFFFFFer, today I saw there's a tooth trying to break through 
Feeling pretty guilty and incompetent at the moment. Happily rocked him to sleep tonight - thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

dont be upset!! when Ian cut his first tooth he was miserable and i kept complaining my wonderful baby is being a PITA!! then i saw the tooth and felt like cr@p. he knows u love him.

don't beat yourself up about it - you can't see what you can't see. my dd was the same way a few weeks ago, we redid CIO, haven't heard a peep since and still no teeth so your story could've very well ended differently - you couldn't have known!
