WWYD - bday party related

DD's first bday party is on saturday. the weather is calling for around 75 and sunny. we had planned on borrowing a tent from someone, but since it'll be a pleasant day, i'm not sure we really need it. DH thinks we should still set it up so people aren't sitting in the sun all afternoon. we do get a lot of afternoon sun in our backyard. we were getting the tent in case of rain, or if it was too warm. i don't think 75 is too warm, but directly under the sun it could be.

so, would you still set up the tent, or do you think it's not needed. the party starts at 1:30, so the yard would be pretty sunny during the party. TIA!

I would definitely set up the tent. It will still be hot in the sun...I know I would need some shade!

Honestly I probably wouldnt unless the sun is pounding the area where the tables will be set up.

We had DS's birthday a couple of weeks ago and I opted not to get a tent because the party didnt start until 2:30 and by the 3 the sun is pretty much not covering my backyard anymore.

DS birthday was last weekend on Sat. and EVERYONE was outside the entire time and it was beautiful and noone complained! - No tents!
