WWYD? Tuperware party related (Long)
I went to a fellow LIFer's Tupperware party recently.
I "won" to get to do a party.
But the thing is hardly anyone is coming. People who told me they would come will not. I really just have 1-2 people so far.
This is getting nuts. I did not want to stress to get this party going.
I mean, the LIFer is getting credit for me doing a party but in the end, I don't think I can do it.
How ridiculous to have 2 people coming. Me cooking, etc...
Should I just cancel? I feel I have posted enough here already (on the parenting board!). I don't want to appear desperate. I already ordered items anyway so it would be more freebies and a few more stuff to buy. I am NOT desperate and HATE harrassing people.
On top of that the girl scheduled it on Wednesday.. . the night before school start.
What would you do? I feel bad for the LIFer that is supposed to get credit for it. What can I do?

Hmm...I'd probably cancel it if I were you. It's not your fault that a lot of people can't make it (sorry, I can't do weeknights!)

Re: WWYD? Tuperware party related (Long)
maybe you could turn it into a "catalog" party. The seller may be fine with it....still have your 2 friends over or even just go get some drinks with one another so at least YOU still get a girls night then everyone else invited just gets a catalog and if they'd like anything they'd order it by a certain date through the sellers website with your party number. I'm sure the seller doesn't really want to come out to you either for only 2 people, so I wouldn't feel guilty.
If it helps you decide....As a PC consultant, I'd much rather do a catalog party if only 2 people are available to come

Could you postpone it until people are more settled with their new school schedules and maybe change it to a weekend afternoon?

I didn't realize when it was. I could not make this week but there are 2 more Tupperware items that I want, so I would give you that order!
