Tween skin questions

I have 2 boys almost 12 and 10 this summer. They have good skin, but want to be ready. I'm sure the hormones will start soon.
Right now it's just regular bar soap and shampoo and conditioner.
My younger son has been putting lotion on his face bc it's dry, but he'll use regular lotion for hands. Is there any good lotion or face wash for tweens/teens? I'm not sure when to start, but want to be ready. My older son could care less about his routine, but I can tell my younger cares more. LOL

My 11 year old has very sensitive skin so we use Cetaphil to wash his face.

Re: Tween skin questions

Thanks! I have Cetaphil for myself too so will start having them use that and will get the lotion.

Re: Tween skin questions

Every dermatologist recommends Cerave but it does not work for my DD. It dries her out. We have used several products and its a real trial and error. She likes a cleanser that we buy from Amazon - I think its "NYX" and she uses a moisturizer from a local spa. Some kids get acne worse than others and its a trial and error trying to figure out what works the best. At the age your boys are I would just encourage washing their face nightly and applying a light moisturizer if it's dry. They could also try burts bees as they have light moisturizers.
