J&J vaccine
So it seems that many places run out of it and they’re not looking to have it restocked. Mmmmm I wonder why...

J&J vaccine
Are you legitimately wondering why they aren't having it restocked because you want it? Or you are just creating another vaccine debate thread?

Re: J&J vaccine
Because J&J as a vector vaccine didn’t perform as well as the mRNA ones? That could be the reason…

J&J vaccine
I think it’s because J&J forgot to add the microchip to this batch

Re: J&J vaccine
I got J and J. Wish I hadn’t gotten anything except for the fact that it makes doing a lot of things easier.

I think it is less desirable and they didn’t push it as much.
I don’t think you are starting drama and people who think anyone is with a thread should just move on. Smh

J&J vaccine
Most people seem to prefer Pfizer and Moderna because it has higher efficacy. In the beginning, a lot of people wanted J & J because it was one and done, but I don't think that's the case anymore. I know a few people who just got their first doses or are going this week and they all wanted an MRNA vaccine. The demand for J & J isn't there.

Re: J&J vaccine
If I am forced against my will (likely) to get injected then I would want J&J because it is an actual typical vaccine and not an experimental therapy. I don’t care if it is not effective because I do not want it at all anyway.

I feel the exact same way. I may have to get one for work and rather get the J&J. Don’t care how effective it is. My SIL, got the fizer one, then got extreme bleeding during her period and it on medication now and may need surgery, so I think I’ll stay away from that one.

J&J vaccine
J&J was intriguing because just the one dose is appealing. But it ends there.
Moderna actually has the best coverage it seems. It prevented the most hospitalizations.

I got my "period" two weeks early and I was practically hemorrhaging and it wasn't typical period blood. It was gunshot wound blood. This was after I got J&J. I also got a very bad bloody nose and I wasn't able to get out of bed for two days. Just an FYI.

LOL, This!!!!!!!! They forgot to chip us!!!!
I wanted the J & J Vaccine, and got the J & J vaccine. My internist and pulmonologist had access to all 3 vaccines and they chose J & J. Very happy that I followed their advice and will happily get a booster of J & J if and when it is needed.

Thank you for sharing. With all these side effects I keep hearing, I’m scared to get any shot. Hope everything is better for you now.

I don't know anyone under the age of 65 that didn't experience some side effects. For many it was just fatigue and a sore arm but for a decent number of people they had moderate to severe reactions. I don't know any other vaccine that has this many side effects and it is worrisome.

That's my concern. Why? Why these side effects when like you said, no other vaccines have these kind of side effects? That thing with your period was totally bizarre and scary. You don't hear about that from a TDAP shot or measles booster. Scary

I understand you being apprehensive. As I said I got the J & J shot. I wanted J & J specifically and my doctors recommended it. Though it doesn't fit the narrative of some people on this board, I am decades under 65 and had no reactions....no period problems, it's been 6 months and the same as always, no effects right after - no headache, no chills, no fever, no sore arm. I carried on with my day afterwards and walked a few miles. I urge you to speak to your doctors; I found most people on this board like to incite fear.

Everyone is different. My youngest had Pzifer and just a sore arm, nothing else. I have heard so many different issues after.
What is the effectiveness of the J&J as they are now saying (not sure which one) they might only last 6 monhts?

Re: J&J vaccine
There is no reason for anyone here to incite fear. She got the shot- she had that reaction. Saying she is reporting it to incite fear is kind of insulting to her- akin to calling her a liar or a pot stirrer. Honest opinions and experiences are always welcome. Even if they don't fit the "everyone MUST get vaccinated narrative." I'm happy to hear BOTH sides- people who had no reactions and were fine and those who weren't and have fears or regrets now. It's ok.

Yes that's what I'm doing. You are such an a** hole. I had a horrible experience that was dismissed by you as me starting menopause even though you know absolutely nothing about me.

Thank you. I got vaccinated. I am pro vaccine. But I am also honest about my experience.

Re: J&J vaccine
You know it really scares me that people who suffered any kind of adverse reaction to this vaccine are being shunned and ridiculed and silenced.
That is what makes me trust this thing even less to be honest.

I know, I don't get it. It's fine to say, look this is our best shot and it's probably completely safe but it is odd to have so many reactions. Why does it have to be so black and white with some people?
