You can Google how much the fee per page is. But I think 75 cents is correct.

That's kind of high. I would "negociate" to a lower price. It's usually around $0.25 per page.

legally, they can go up to 75 cents/page Max... most dont though.

Yes, .75 cents per page but they can actually charge you MORE than that. They can tack on a service fee which they deem fair and reasonable. (Search and retrival fee).

Yes. In a dental office I used to work for we charged $25.00. That's because we had to make duplicates of xrays. However, Once we switched over to digital xrays, it was much cheaper to make copies and we passed that savings on to the patient.
It takes man power and supplies to copy a chart.

They can charge up to 75 cents a page in NY. I deal with this every day and most places charge exactly 75 cents a page to release to the patient but will send to another doctor as a courtesy. here's a website I keep for state by state info about this
