When did u start buying "stuff" for the baby?

Just curious.

I am too scared to buy anything yet. I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow.

I didnt buy anything for the baby yet and I am 35 weeks but that is just me and I am totally weird

we havent purchased anything yet but we have been looking once we find out the sex, DH will have to take away my credit cards and atm card I am about 14.5 weeks!

I would wait sometime I started buying stuff at around 20weeks now tomorrow I'll be 30weeks and the nursery full I dont even know if I need my baby shower thats how much I bought. I waited till I know the sex. but now I cant stop everything I see I have to have.

DH isn't comfortable buying anything ... he says .. until baby is born... but realistically I think at 35 weeks we are going to need to start to prepare

I haven't bought anything yet, and I'm 17w5d but I think many girls wait until after their Level II. I'm waiting for that.

I am 15 weeks 2 days and haven't bought anything yet. I think if we find out the sex, I will be buying stuff as I see it, but I'm leaning more towards staying team green in which case I may not really buy much at all.

If we see any baby gear for a great deal, I would probably buy it. Hoping to wait until at least 20 weeks to make any purchases.

ETA: woops, just remembered that when we were in Vegas a couple of weeks ago I bought a baby bib that says "Potty like a rock star" I just thought it was too funny to pass up. But other than that, nada.

I'll probably register once I know the sex of the baby...and then after my shower, I'll buy whatever I still need.

I am 34 weeks and only started buying things for the baby last week, after my shower.

I am 23 weeks and I bought her two small things-a bib and a cupcake hat. I didn't buy the bib until 16 weeks and the hat last week. That is really all for now. I don't want to go crazy-I want to see what I get at my shower and then I will decide when we get closer.

I've been good... haven't bought anything YET!! but mom got me a few outfits already but waited till after I was out of my first trimester... I think once I hit 20 weeks i'll have to hand my credit cards over to my DH

I bought a few things around 30 weeks (I had a bunch of coupons so I got some little sleepers and onesies from Carters).

I didn't buy anything else until after my shower (buying remaining things from the registry and only if I had coupons).

i don't plan on buying anything till well after 20 weeks.. i am just way supersticious.. thats just me though!

I'm 18 weeks.... I havent bought anything yet. Gonna wait until after Level 2.

THe only thing I bought for the baby was a teddy bear from Disney while I was in Florida. It has a green bib on that says "Baby's 1st Disney Bear". I thought it was perfect since I was team green at the time. I was 19 weeks.

Since then I only bought stuff for the nursery, shelves, the border, wall hangings...etc. I'll see what happens after the shower. I'm such a control freak I'll probably exchange half the clothes for clothes that I like

i didn't buy anything until like 19-20 weeks when we knew the gender..

I am 27 weeks and have not bought anything yet. I am having my shower at 31 weeks and will buy whatever I need after my shower.

We haven't bought anything yet, MIL and SIL went crazy at 21 weeks, I was with them and it was a lot of fun!

We plan to buy some diapers on Black Friday and maybe if there's a REALLY good deal on something like the crib or bedding we'll buy that but otherwise I'll wait until after my shower to see what we get. I'll be 22 weeks on Thanksgiving.

I didn't start buying until after my shower at 35 weeks. But I'm superstitous about buying too much too early...

I bought a couple of things before I got my BFP. I figured even if it took a while for me to get pregnant I could easily gift these items for baby showers I had, should there presence become hurtful or troubling.

I am very passionate about having our in 100% organic items so when I find something I I get it. One of the 1st items I purchased was take home outfit( I also purchased the matching hat) .
