Looks fine! I just about the same stuff...next time I'm going with the bare minimum.
Bring 2 pillows!!!
One for behind your head during labor and one for behind your back. Then you'll want 2 during your hospital stay to prop you up. You could also use one for feeding the baby and leave the boppy at home so it doesn't get germs.

You won't need the pacifier! The hospital will supply one, and will gladly give you some extras to take home.
Nursing pads you could probably skip as well, since your milk doesn't come in right away - usually around day 4 or so.
Looks good, I used pretty much NOTHING other than PJs, my towel, my tolietries/hairdryer. If your hospital gives you disposable underware.... USE THEM!!! BEST INVENTION EVER, and be sure to take a bunch home with you!

Noooooooooo... their pads are the BEST!!! I kept packing them in my bag and telling the nurses I needed more! They are WAY better than what you buy in the store!

Re: Hospital bag list... how does this look?
I've heard to bring many pairs of socks, as there can be lots of leaking after the birth and socks can get messy when you stand up...
I've also heard that bringing a pen is important as you're unlikely to get one you can keep for your stay from hospital staff.

Re: Hospital bag list... how does this look?
Wow! Looks great.... just a suggestion-make sure you bring big high waisted grandma paintes. I didn't, ended up having a c-section and had my mom run out to get them. Even if I didn't have the section I would have wanted big comfy ones to recover in.
I used the hospital towels and they were fine. The hospital also supplies pacis for baby. I didn't see maxi pads on your list (I ended up using the hospital ones and they were good too) but some people like their own.

Re: Hospital bag list... how does this look?
Maybe a change of clothes for DH? Depending on when you go in and how long you are there for, he may want to freshen up? someone recommended this to me. Your list is very complete...giving me agida to start packing my own after the holidays!!

Baby wipes - most hospitals just give you these towel things that you have to wet.

Re: Hospital bag list... how does this look?
I wouldn't bother with the underwear, maxi pads or towel. Use their mesh disposable underwear and pads!! I used them for a while even when I got home. And why dirty your own towel... it takes up a lot of space in the bag too.
You're so close, i'm so excited for you!

Oh, you are missing face wash, aromatherapy candles, body scrub and a eyelash curler...
Just kidding. I bookmarked the most comprehensive alphabetized list ever!

Re: Hospital bag list... how does this look?
Hayley, whoa what a list. After you have el nino can you come organize my closets? And bake some cupcakes while you're here. Anyway just wanted to mention, the thing I am HAPPIEST I brought was EARPLUGS and a SLEEP MASK. I know that sounds a little weird, but hospitals are SO NOISY and I was there for 5 days after a C, trust me you'll want to sleep no matter when the urge strikes. I started relying on those when I travelled a lot for work, and they were a lifesaver in the hospital. And I had a private room but there is still so much noise and activity... If you're sharing a room you'll want them even more.

Re: Hospital bag list... how does this look?
i personally would NOT bring my boppy to the hospital.. while it does aid in nursing there are some many germs on the floor in the hospital that i wouldnt bring something that i would then be using at home (trust me i cultured the floors and furniture and it grosses me out).... and while i know you say it wont be on the floor... you know how many things i dropped while in the hospital between exhaustion and being attached to an iv
also, some hospitals will not let you use any pacifier except theirs in the nursery so i would call and ask
i personally would pack two seperate bags... one for the ldr and one for pp...
