laid off
my husband got laid off AGAIN today. This time it sounds like he really did do a good job and they liked him but they just don't have the money. He was only there a few months and before this he has been laid off about 4 other times in the past 5 years or so...He was unemployed almost 2 years before this job (except for some small part time work inbetween) I think its his field...he needs to try something different. It may also partly be him. I am so scared.

I am so sorry. 
I hope he finds another job soon. What is his background? What field is he in? Some people here may have some leads or ideas.

hang in there...my Dh got laid off a few years ago over budget costs and has been doing consulting here & there...he is in Marketing...it stinks..i know how you feel! .

I'm so sorry you're going through this... It really sux, but hopefully he'll find something new quickly.
I was laid off at the end of Sept - that makes it 4 times in 10 years. Rationally I know it's a business decision, but it does start to ware on a person's confidence when it happens repeatedly. Just be there for you DH and help keep him motivated or give him space if he needs it. Hope things turn around for you.

same with my 2 in 2 years. im so scared because we are excpeting a child in apirl and we are now living off our savings which stinks also my paycheck doesnt work and by the time the week it over my funds are gone and i have to wait another week before getting paid again. it scary gl to you dh
