Does anyone use an IUD?
I have a couple of questions -
- Did the procedure hurt? - Any complications? - Any difficulty getting pregnant after you removed it - any other feedback you can give
thanks girls!

No, just a pinch and some cramping afterwards.
- Any complications? I had paragard and my periods were very heavy and very painful. I wouldn't get it again. I hear Mirena is much better. - Any difficulty getting pregnant after you removed it I'll let you know at a later date.

Re: Does anyone use an IUD?
- Did the procedure hurt? The actual procedure was similar to being in labor slightly...they have to dilate you to insert the IUD. THe real pain came for me that night, I have a pretty high threshold for pain and I was very uncomfortable.
- Any complications? None at all
- Any difficulty getting pregnant after you removed it Get pregnant the 2nd month after removing it
- any other feedback you can give I absolutely loved having it and will be using it again after this DC is born.
I used Paraguard and had a slightly heavier period which lightened and lightened with each month until it regulated to about 4 days. I AM hearing this is not typical though.

Re: Does anyone use an IUD?
I have a couple of questions -
- Did the procedure hurt? Dont remember it hurting very badly, but afterward the cramping was killing me for days. i think i also had the paraguard. - Any complications? YES! mine moved out of place and I couldve gotten pregnant! I also got an infection from it and had to go on antibiotics for 6 weeks which I couldnt tolerate and had to stop. needless to say i had to have that thing yanked out asap
Also my periods were extremely long and heavy, like 2 weeks long! - Any difficulty getting pregnant after you removed it not trying
- any other feedback you can give I would never get it because of the horror I went through with it, but that's just my story. my friend has one and is happy with it. thanks girls!
