Figuring out Leave Salary
So for this leave replacement I am making full salary!
I am trying to figure out my approximate pay per paycheck...any clue would I just divide by the amount of contract days for a daily rate?
I'm pretty sure I get paid for the holidays too, so since those aren't counted in the contract days how do I figure out what I should be making?
Since this is only temporary I know they aren't going to just take the salary and divide by 26 paychecks or whatever the district is set up for.

Re: Figuring out Leave Salary
you don't get a per diem rate, so I would think that you would take the salary and divide it by 20 or 22, depending on what your SD uses for 10 months (I don't think they would give LRs the option for "summer checks"
20 - get paid twice a month 22 - get paid every other week

Re: Figuring out Leave Salary
We get paid twice a month (15th and 30th).
But like during my first week I was paid 2 days of subbing @ $90 a day, 1 day of transition (which I think is normal salary) and 2 days regulary salary. So I would need to figure out a daily rate for the 3 other days right?

I am pretty sure you would figure out your pay check if you take the salary divided by the number of paychecks per school year (ie: 22 or 26). As a leave on salary usually you make the same amount per paycheck as a full time teacher on the same step and prep. Make sense?

Re: Figuring out Leave Salary
I think those 3 days might be your salary divided by 182 days (180+2 conference)
