1st appointment update and question
Hey ladies!! Hope everyone had a nice weekend!!
I had my first appointment on Thursday night, but I didn't get to update because we left Friday morning for a weekend at the Cape...
Anway...all went great at the appointment, baby measured perfectly and heartbeat was 164!!!
Had a great weekend away, visiting my grandfather (who is thrilled to know his 8th great grandchild is one way!!)....then, this morning, I started spotting pink / brown....it's been there all day, a few minor cramps here and there, but I think some of that is gas (sorry TMI  )....
I feel like I've never done this....from everyone I've spoken to / what I've read, light pink/brown spotting is okay, right????? I'm soooo anxious...I called OB's service and left a message, but I haven't heard back yet....I suppose maybe that's good, as he doesn't think it's serious enough to call back???
TIA for any "calm down" advice....

Congrats on the great appointment...
as for the spotting... It seems to be extremely common... but i would still ask the doctor!!

my dr said as long as it is not bright red with cramping it is fine good luck

Did you have a pap? I got a pap and I was spotting for 24 hours after... However, if you didn't as long as it's not bright red blood I think it's okay... but it's good that you called your doctor to find out.

Thanks ladies!! Dr. finally called back, and said it's probably just normal stuff, but to take it easy, no lifting/running/ for 48 hours...and call if it continues/gets worse....
It seems better today...so  it continues that way!!
