odd question

..but I thought maybe someone else might have the same issue...

For the past 6 months or so I have noticed my sternum (or cartilage around where my sternum meets my rib bones) cracking like one would crack knuckles..should I be worried? It happens numerous times a day when twist my upper body to the right..it started one day and has continued ever since..

Is it painful? If so I'd say get it checked out asap, you could have pulled something. If it's not painful, I probably wouldn't worry too much. Still can't hurt to get it checked out though! I don't have any experience with this but I do have cracking in my joints & I kind of just ignore it... probably not the best thing to do.

not painful per se. just feels odd and now sometimes feels like it needs to be cracked
