I open them- Even in the dead of winter. The only reason why I would keep them shut in the Spring is to try to avoid getting all the allergens indoors.

Love having a breeze and getting some fresh air but it's very rare that I open my windows this time of year. My allergies are killing me!

I always open my windows. Even if it's just a crack in the dead of winter. I love fresh air and love to have it circulating around the house. Especially when someone has been sick, I feel like I"m sitting in a cesspool of germs  . Need to circulate that stagnant, germy air out.

front and back door with the screens and the kitchen alot. NEVER the bedroom... I am deathly afraid of spiders and is seems whenever DH opens those windows we find one in the bedroom

On nice breezy days I do but I suffer big time from seasonal allergies and as much as I would love to open my windows right now, the pollen outside has me miserable and I dont want to bring it in the house.

Our windows are always opened. I love fresh air. Dh had off yesterday and i was so excited that when i pulled up almost every window was open.

I had every window and door open yesterday! It was gorgeous. I also had a little kitchen disaster so I needed to air it out, but everything was open before that fortunately. 
ETA: We always sleep with the window cracked though anyway- even in the middle of winter.

I open my windows in late spring/ early fall and all summer long. BUT with the pollen starting to fall everywhere, I DON"T open windows now. I wait until all the pollen is gone so my house doesn't get a green film everywhere. I usually wait until early June.

Bingo, learned this lesson last year when I came home to a green film over most of my stuff
