Re: ques re:pumping
The first week I got about 1/2 oz - 1 oz per breast. Now at 3 1/2 weeks I get anywhere from 2 oz - 3 oz per breast. DD is 3 1/2 weeks old and drinks 3 1/2-4 oz every 2-3 hours.

Re: ques re:pumping
I am not a very productive pumper. But the first week or two I got anywhere from .5oz to 1.5
NOw DS is nearly 6 weeks and I dont pump that often but I get 2-4oz per side.

Re: ques re:pumping
i first started pumping when DS was in the NICU and got less than 1/2oz. Now he is 2 1/2 weeks old and I get between 3-4oz each side.

Re: ques re:pumping
oh good...I have been getting 1/2oz and wanted to be sure that wasn't too little. I now fully understand why its called liquid gold, it takes a lot to accumulate a bottle!!!!

Re: ques re:pumping
What a relief to see this post. I just started to pump today bc Im going out for 2 hours and wanted some for ds. I was getting frustrated bc i was getting half an ounce from BOTH.
I am getting a few drops and then nothing comes out. Is that normal for just starting?

Re: ques re:pumping
ive had supply issues for a multitude of reasons. the first two weeks i was lucky to get .5 oz combined per pumping session. even now at 5 weeks post partum i rarely get more than 1.5oz combined...

Re: ques re:pumping
That sounds about right. I had a huge supply this time since it was my 2nd baby, but I'd say that's what I had around that time.

Just over 3 weeks pp here. Get about 1 oz (total) when I pump. But I have PCOS therefore a supply issue...

Re: ques re:pumping
I am just now getting about 1-2 oz. from BOTH at 9 weeks...I have supply issues, but am happy to be giving anything to DD at this point...a couple of things people have told me you can try...
1-start the cycle again by pressing the letdown button again halfway through 2-do a one hour power pump where you pump 10 mins., off 10 mins, etc... 3-pump every 2 hours for a couple of days no matter what comes out 4-pump after every feeding

Re: ques re:pumping
I was lucky if I even got an ounce. The only way I could relax and get a let down is if I had DD nursing on the other side.
