If you had Sinus surgery - how long b/f you felt normal?
I had surgery one week ago today. The first few days were not pleasant. But, now, even a week later I still feel discomfort/pressure in my forehead, eye and nose area. I see the Dr. tom for my post-op and will ask him then but, wondering if this is normal. I guess it depends on what you had done as well...I had work done on my frontal and ethmoid sinus as well as fixing deviated septum.
TIA!

Not what you want to hear.. but normal? 4-6 weeks.
Even up to 8 months later, if i moved the tip of my nose side to side it would feel weird, like clicking or moving or something...

I had a bad deviated septum, turbinates & some kind of cartilage thing done...it's a long recovery...i had it done 3 months before my wedding & i felt fine by then...it took months though for a full recovery...hang in there...for me the results were worth the pain!!

For DH, the first week was hard. He was so tired too. HE got the packing removed after 1 week and he really started to feel better after that. By 2 weeks post op, he was back to work (amazing considering he had brain surgery through his nasal cavity).

When the packing is out you immediately feel improvement and like it's a new world.
But it still takes more time to feel back to 'normal'.
