36 weeks and breech
Hi Ladies,
I am trying not to be a pessimist but at my 36 week sono and appointment yesterday we found out baby is Frank Breech. LO's butt is starting to descend. Doc wants me to go for a external cephalic version, where they try to turn baby. If its not successful then we have to prepare for the likelihood of a c-section. Has this happened to anyone? Did your baby turn? Any details, advice, experiences are really appreciated. Thanks.
Guess I will also post this on parenting but I also really want to know if anyone is currently going through this and if you are as upset as I am.

Re: 36 weeks and breech
i read to put like a bag of frozen veggies on the top of your belly- it may get the baby to move away from it.... and to put music down there so it will go toward.... good luck!!

is breech too, I'm doing some yoga positions and the ice/ipod tricks to get him to move bc I don't want them to turn him in the event it goes wrong then I'd have an emergency c section and I def don't want that, i'd rather know I was having one and schedule it rather than be rushed in. Try the tricks and see if it helps! Good Luck!

Re: 36 weeks and breech
Same exact thing happened to me, baby was frank breech also at 36 weeks. My doctor gave me the choice to try the externall version but said baby could flip back right after and that it wasn't guaranteed he would stay head down. I did not do the version. Next week I went for check up and baby was head down. Next week after head up. He literally flipped every week. I also had High amniotic fluid which didn't help. The day before my induction last week baby was head down, the night of my induction in the hospital he was sideways. Couldn't induce me and waited until the morning to see his position. What do you know he was head down. I know I typed more info than you were looking for but I'm just saying don't worry about it at this point, there is still plenty of time for LO to turn, see what happens. The chance of the version working is 50/50. Good luck and really try not to worry!!! Enjoy these last few weeks :)

Re: 36 weeks and breech
The same exact thing happened to me. At 36 weeks DC #2 was frank. A week later DC flipped. So you do have a shot at baby turning on it's own. Good luck! Hope the peanut flips for you!

Re: 36 weeks and breech
Do you have a chiropractor? The Webster technique is specifically for this and is 95% effective. It the only reason it typically won't work is if there is something physically blocking the baby from turning. I'm sure if you google it you can find lots of info, but if you have any questions feel free to fm me :)
