Blood work question?
On a normal yearly physical, when they take blood work.. If you have something like Cancer.. would that "show up" meaning would something show it the blood for them to do additional testing? Or do you have to ask for specific bloodwork?

Re: Blood work question?
if a CBC was done, they would likely find clues and request further testing (extensive testing).

Re: Blood work question?
At yearly bloodwork they do a CBC like the pp said.. and if something looks suspicious they could send you for further tests, but a CBC isn't a clue for all illnesses.. so if you are worried about something specific, you should bring it up to your doctor. Hopefully you will be able to confirm that nothing is wrong!!
I think I have health anxiety... and I totally stress out before dr appts.. so I can relate to the uneasiness!!
