CBE Digital OPK Question
Color me dumb.
I got a smiley on 3/12, after testing with the cheapies and getting what I thought was a + and wanted to be sure. I ran out of the cheapies (which were negative up until Monday) so I wanted to test again to see if we should BD again.
It was -, is that normal? To only get one positive?
I just feel like I'm broken 
And anywhere you can point me to help educate me would be helpful (tips/advice also appreciated)

I have been using digitalis since May and only get 1 day
 I wouldn't stress. It's normal to only get a positive for a day

After reading everyone posts for the past 6 months, I don't think there is such thing as normal 
I have experienced what you describe aboved, so you are not alone. This past month my CBEFM never registered high or peak, but my digital had a smiley one of the days, so who knows. I say just keep  . Good Luck!

i have been on these boards since the world began and everyone stopped testing after they got one...i dont know why everyone now keeps testing
u could have caught the middle of the surge..if u got a positive on monday wed it would not be..
you got a smiley that is great! just keep

i have the opposite problem...i get a positive opk for 2 days and that confuses me even more!
From what i read, you ovulate 12-36 hours after your LH surge so you probably o'd on 3/12 or 3/13 (depending on what time of day you test i guess).
im still trying to learn this myself so i have been testing morning and afternoons when i get my positive to try to help me determine when I o. i decided to take it one step further this month so i started temping and from what i read, that will confirm that you did ovulate. so my hope is that between the opk and the temping, i can figure out my o date more accurately.

Not to get too TMI on you girls but I poas at around 5pm and DTD at around 10pm (bc that's when dh got home) Then Tuesday he was too tired, and Wednesday I was too tired so we got ONE shot...God I hope this is it

well all it takes is 1! but if you dtd prior to Monday the sperm can live inside you for a few days
think positive!

It's so nice to see that I'm not the only one confused about O. I'm in the same boat as OP, just used digital OPK for the first time and got a smiley on the very first try, then no smiley the day after. I was skeptical that I had beginners luck. LOL!

The only way to know for sure is to temp. I would go by the day after you get a That you would have ovulated.

the only way to know for sure that you ovulated is by temping and seeing a rise in your temp for more than 3 days. You can get a smiley and have an LH surge, and sometimes not ovulate at all. a smiley doesn't guarantee that you will O. There have been months where I get one smiley, and then last month I had smileys 3 days in a row. and then after that, you can ovulate within 12 to 48 hours after that. Not to sound gross, but you should also be checking your CM, once you start to dry up, you have probably o'd as well. but the ONLY way to ensure that you have ovulated is by temping.

I only get one..per my gyno that's normal and you will probably O 12-24hrs after you get your smiley.
