Converting to gas heat if there is already gas in the house
Anyone have any idea what the cost would be to convert to Gas if there is already a gas line in the house?
I currently use oil for heating, but gas for cooking, dryer, and hot water and I was wondering how involved this job was and how much it would cost.
Thanks!

I have the same as you. My quote was free equipment (furnace) and plumber's quotes were as cheap as $2200 and as much as $4000. I have forced air. Don't know if baseboards cost different.
Decided not to do the change over since oil was only for heating. And saving those few thousands sounded better.
