Moms of 5-7 year olds......
When does your LO go to bed usually- year round?

Around 8:30 when they have school, sometimes 9.
Over the summer, 9-9:30 most of the time.

During the school year, DD (6yo) goes to bed around 8. During the summer it usually shifts to 8:30.

We don't have a set bedtime, but on average, between 8:30 and 9. She is 5.

This school year I am aiming for 8pm bed time. Last year, I was in school and did many late night rotations so he DS went to bed at 930 and he was having issues focusing in school. I'm wondering if the late sleep time was related so I'm aiming for earlier this year!

7:30 during the school year.
We eat 5:30-6, then bedtime routine and reading with both of them from 6:45-7:30.
We are very early risers so we all go to bed earlier than most families.

During the school year it's around 8, but can be later depending on homework and after school activities that day.
In the summer it's between 8:30 & 9.

we don't have a bedtime. We send them up between 8 & 9. During the school year, they fall asleep pretty quickly. During the summer it can be 10+

Same here. DS will be 5 soon and DD will be 3 soon. They both have the same bedtime.

They are 5 and almost 7 and they both go to bed by 8pm during school. Summer's been more flexible, but typically no later than 8:30, 9.

My kids are 5 AND 7 and they are both in bed by 8 during school year.
Summer is a whole other story: can be 9, can be 10, but then they get up much much later than they do when school is in session.

My six year old goes to bed between 8:30-9:00 during the school year. he doesn't have to wake up until 8 in the morning and this seems like enough sleep.
No set time for summer, but not too late most nights- around 9.

6 and 8 years old. My 6 year old girl is an early riser, she likes to go to bed about 8 pm during school year. This summer, she is fighting to be up until 9 some nights when we are doing things.
My 8 year old boy would stay up until the cows come home. He's been up to 11 pm some nights this summer with no issues. During school year, bedtime is 9 pm, but he doesn't fall asleep until later. He has to be up at 6:30 during the school year.
I don't care what time they go to bed in summer. We are always out and about, going to BBQ's, pools, parties, etc. They are having a blast and enjoying themselves. School year I am more strict and try to enforce a bedtime, but it doesn't always work.

During the school year 9:30-10, summer 10:30-12!!!!!! I have no idea what to do with this kid anymore!!! She is usually in her bed by 8:30 during school year and 9:30 during the summer if we are doing something but she just won't sleep!!!! And I don't know what else to do to tire her out. Sat we went food shopping, to the circus, shopping at the outlets, and in the hot tub and she was up until 12am!!!!!!!

During the school year she goes to bed at 7:30 and mostly the same in the summer. Although the summer she does have a lot more later nights, by that I mean between 8-9.

DD is 5 and goes to bed between 7 and 7:30. During the summer on special nights (if we're out & about at a party, etc) she has gone to bed as late as 9pm, but she gets up earlier than normal the next day and is so tired & cranky, we try to limit it!

We usually aim to start the bedtime routine around 7:30/8:00 (showers, brushing teeth, reading, etc.) with a goal of being asleep before 9:00. In the summer it may shift back a half hour or so but in general I don't like them to go to bed too late since they always wake up by 7:00 regardless of how late they went to sleep!

We are in the process of backing it way up in hopes that he will not nap. but last night he went to bed by 8:30, which is super early for him and he was up at 4:30. He did come to my bed and just play quietly but still  .

Same for us. I really don't like giving them a later time just because it is summer. They are so much more crankier when they do not get a good nights rest. My kids also do not sleep later because they went to bed later so they are still up between 7 and 7:30. On the weekends they will stay up later if we have a party. They 5 & 6
