Good luck! It seems like every day now, we're getting more news about October babies coming into the world! How exciting!
So I got my csection date and it will be the 10th, unless I go into labor before then or if my LO decides to turn out of breech position. I can't believe it's less than a week away!

I wish something was happening with me. I was checked today, not dilated or anything. I was hoping to go naturally but they're planning on inducing me on Monday, still trying to get things going naturally between now and then!
Why do they want to induce you so early?
I have GD so they worry about placenta insufficiency, so they always induce 1 week early

Hello from LIJ ladies! Had my induction started late Monday night and progressed really quick! I was 8cm when i got the epi finally. The baby was at station +2 and after pushing for 2 hours didn't progress at all :( iended up with a c section and recovery has been a little rough. Baby girl is 8lbs 3oz, 21in long.

weekly ob - progressed from 1-2 to 2-3,progressed from 50% to 80%... i think the  is helping..... getting induced 39 weeks due to GD, next Thursday night.
my coworker just gave me her granddaughters nap nanny,and a crazy amount of clothes. so excited because now I won't need to use the neutrals from my son.
Congrats to the new October babies!!!

Ok I was just curious because my doc was talking about inducing in about 2 weeks on the 17th. Today is my EDD.

Missing lots of work in first trimester
I registered on this site because I'm in my first trimester, and I'm missing a lot of work due to just feeling absolutely horrible. I feel guilty about it and am looking to see if others are missing work too. I have FMLA on file, so my job is safe, but I still feel pretty bad about missing so much work. I'm 8 weeks today, and this is my 3rd pregnancy- that I expect to go full term.

Packed my bag for the hospital tonight :) I would love if this baby would come tomorrow or Sunday, if not I'm all ready to get induced Monday. Just praying I've dilated some since my last exam (Wednesday)

aww, all our october babies are so cute!! such an exciting time for everyone - congrats, congrats!!
is anyone getting "1st halloween" outfits? if so, can u post pics?
i had my 1st internal on thursday - not much going on i guess - soft, closed, 50% effaced and her head is still pretty high. my bp is creeping up though so they're keeping an eye on it.

I got him this sleep n play and hat set from Target (it's Carter's brand though):
DD is going to be a lion. She loves saying ROAR!!! I thought the tiger sleeper was super cute and perfect.
