Instead of boiling it in water I use chicken stock or broth with butter. Sometimes I throw in a few veggies. Sometimes I leave it plain with grated cheese

How do you make your pastina?

I make it a bunch of different ways....

butter and a little grated parmeggiano (it's not too salty)
olive oil with the grated cheese too
a tiny bit of tomato sauce just to add some flavor
no-salt added bouillion cubes (chicken, beef or veggie flavor)
ricotta
laughing-cow cheese triangle (it melts into the pastina)

I just ate one of these and made a royal mess of myself and was thinking there had to be a better use for them - I'm gonna try this, thanks!!

Boil it in a mix of chicken broth and water. Then I'll add things to it - cheese, veggies, chicken, etc.

Re: How do you make your pastina?

Silly question alert:

Are these recipes only for you? Or for your DC also?
