Question for moms with infants in daycare

What should routine?

DD (2mos tomorrow) just started daycare (tomorrow is day 3) and has been going to bed ~10pm and wakes ~6-7am. I need to leave the house at 7 with her

1st nigh to put her to bed in PJs then in the AM changed her diaper, fed her & went to daycare. Last nightshe slept in a Swaddle Me so this morning I changed her diaper & put on PJs. I put her in car seat & she passed out (no bottle til after she was at daycare)

I'm big on routines - especially since I have a 5 yr old DS who will also form daycare a couple mornings a week for befor care.

Curious what others routines are. TIA!

DS is 10 1/2 mos and has been in day care (family member) since 5 mos. His sitter, (my aunt) is the one who established his routines as far as feeding and bathing.


My routine on most days is as follows:
I'm up by 630, DS is up between 530 and 6 for a bottle then either goes back to sleep or hangs out with me.
645 to 7 is my time in the bathroom, DS will either watch TV in his bouncer in my room or play in his crib.
715-730 I get dressed, get DS dressed and start moving us downstairs. I put DS in his high chair with some puff snacks while I pack his bag, my bag and his meals. Then proceed to put everyting in the car before I come back for him.
By 745 to 8 im rushing to get out, to travel 30-45 min to my aunt and then an additional 25 min to work, I'm there by 9am.

In the evening, it takes me about an hour to get home, I give DS a snack or light dinner and his last bottle by 830pm.
Since he sleeps on the car ride home, he won't go to bed until 930pm to 10.

I'm off weekends and have no schedule for him. That is when he's asleep by 830pm, 1hr nap at noon.

I am currently looking for day care/ work near home.

It has been quite hard to get into a routine lately. After Sandy my routine that i had with DS was completely thrown off. But here is our "New"routine that we are still trying to get used to.

I wake up at about 6-6:30 prepare a bottle for DS and feed him. Try to get him dressed by 7-7:15. Then I rush to get myself dressed. Get DS into his car seat and im out of the house by 7:30-7:40 (yes i know i have NO time to really get ready in the morning so i do everything the night before.)

DS gets picked up at daycare at about 345 naps until i pick him up from my inlaws at 6. He will eat at least once more and he is in bed asleep by 830-900. sometimes he will stay up a little later and gets one more bottle, but once he falls asleep he is out until i wake him up at 6:630 to start the day all over again.

Ds has been in daycare since 10 weeks old. Schedule varied until he startrf sttn @ 12wks old.
Now he is 4 months old! Goes to sleep between 8-9pm. (last bottle between 7pm-8pm)
Wakes up between 6am-7am. 1st bottle of the day about 30min after he wakes. I get up @ 6:00am, take shower & get ready by 6:40am I am completly done, purse, keys, shoes all by door. I like to be done so from 6:40 to 8:10 i can spend time with him with out having to do anything else.
If baby is up before i am done he hangs in crib or with DH. My DH leaves @6:40 so he watches him through monitor or will change his diaper and start feeding if neccassary.
Bags are all packed the night before. DH brings to car when he leaves.
After DS bottle he will hangout on me or in rocker in pj's and play, sing or wath gabba. Sometimes is he wakes @ 6:00 he may take a cat nap. By 8:00am i get him changed and in sweats and onseie for daycare. We are out the door by 8:10-8:15.
In day care until 4pm or 5pm. DH picks him up. Gives him his bottle & Ds takes a nap. I get home by 5:20pm Wakes up give ceral, (Bath if its bath day), pj's & last bottle and goes to sleep.
Bottles are about 7, 10, 1, 4, 7. Varies 30-45 minutes, depending on the day.

DD will be 4months on Friday. She has been in daycare for 1month.

I get home a little before 6pm it should be earlier but the lirr still stinks

615pm I pump. Once I'm done with that I start dinner and get coffee and lunch prepped for the next day.

DD gets home between 630pm-7pm (daycare is at DH office) depending on when she ate last at daycare I will nurse her. Once I'm done with that she comes in the kitchen with me (I have a bouncer in there) while I finish dinner. Off to the dining room we go (I have another bouncer at the table) We try not to eat no later than 730pm. Once we are done I put her in her saucer and play/hangout with her. 8pm is bath time. That last about 15-20mins. by the time I'm done getting her in her pjs its almost 830pm which is bedtime. I nurse and read to her until she is almost asleep. Then to her crib she goes.

On a good night she will STTN and wake up between 6a-615am. Sometimes she will wake up at 3 or 4am but I nurse her and she goes back to sleep. On those nights I need to wake her up.lol

I wake up at 530am to pump. I'll have some fresh oatmeal. Take care of my senior shih tzu and get myself ready. Depending on the moring I will nurse her between 6-630am. I get her dressed and she hangs out with me until I'm done. I need to be out the door by 710am

Still trying to figure out what DH does.lol

Don't really have a routine.

She wakes up, we change her, dress her, get ready, then off to daycare.

If she slept through the night I'll feed her at home, if she didn't they'll feed her at daycare.

My whole "routine" in the morning usually takes an hour at most. She gets to daycare btw 830 and 9a.
