Both my girls were off bottles by their first birthday. I made the switch before they became too attached to the bottle. Luckily DS never took one.

I took DD off at 1 year at pediatrician's recommendation.
She didnt care.
I also had a baby coming in 3 months and didnt want any issues with her wanting his bottles..or cleaning 2 sets of bottles.
By the time the baby came, she didnt remember the bottle and I had no issues with that.

What age did you start to take the bottle away?
The issues we have with sippy cups is that they spit out the water as it drools down there chin. It must feel good as they are teething. Any tips? When will this stop. I want to get rid of bottle but I feel that they may spit milk out all over also

we started phasing out the bottle around her 1st birthday, by 13 months she was off the bottle completely.

What age did you start to take the bottle away?
I tried at 12 months, I had no issues except she would not drink milk from anything but the bottle, so I gave it back, 1 bottle a day. I tried again at 16 months, she went through crack head withdrawals for 2 days, and was fine. BUT she still will not drink milk, so it is what it is, we supplement calcium w/ food, cause I am not making her go through that again.

My son is VERY attached to his bottle, he is 13 months. He doesn't have a lovey, never liked his paci but he really enjoys nursing and bottles.
I'll start trying around 18 months, I know that right now it's just NOT the right time for him.

I did it at 14 months and because he was EBF he was fine with it and went to the straw sippy cups.

You can start whenever you feel comfortable!
For my first, we did at 9 months because he HATED bottles anyway!
For the twins, one is just using sippy cups exclusively at 11 months and the other is still using a bottle.

2 and a half years old!!!!! Bad i know, but it was just at night and i think i wanted to keep him my little baby since i was not preggo with another (and depressed about it).
Anyway, with my DD who is only 8 months now i will be taking it away a lot faster. 18 months would be the most i'd let her go.

We took it away at 15 months without a single issue.
Same here. Just stopped bottles and only used sippy cups. No issues.

10-11 months we started milk (breast milk) in a sippy and never looked back.

We tried to do it gradually with DS#1 and finally went cold turkey at 15 months.
DS#2 went cold turkey at 12 months.

19 months. At that point she was down to one morning bottle so it went pretty smooth. Binky on the other hand
