Re: at what age do you stop saying "my ____ month old"
20 months but that's because I forget how many at this point. Now I say "He'll be 2 in August".

Re: at what age do you stop saying "my ____ month old"
By 2 I stopped counting months. But whenever we sign up for a library program they always ask how many months he is. They said they do that until 48 months. Grrrr....

Same.
I posted this same thing a few years back, lol. I hate when people say anything over 24 months because at that point I have to start doing math in my head and I"m terrible at math!!

Re: at what age do you stop saying "my ____ month old"
Definitely not after 2. Up to 18 mos definitely, after that it depends on the situation. I also find it ridiculous after 2 - if specifics are needed (e.g. when a child was potty trained, bc months do make a difference) I'd say "2 years, 4 mos" ... but that's only for specific reasons.

at what age do you stop saying
I feel silly saying 15 months. I'm just going to say 1.5 because I can see people counting in their head when I tell them

Re: at what age do you stop saying "my ____ month old"
oh goodness, this is a HUGE pet peeve of mine! lol. I stopped at one and then went on to answer people with "turned one in March", "one and a half", "almost 2 in a few months". Now that she's 2 and 4 months I just simply answer "Two".
When I worked at my old daycare, I had a woman call about her son. I asked how old he was (to figure out which class he'd be put in and if we had openings there) and she told me something like 37 months. There was a lonngggg silence as I sat there trying to hurry up and do the stupid math and then finally said "Ok, so, he's THREE." Saying it in months won't keep him a baby. lol

Re: at what age do you stop saying "my ____ month old"
I'm thinking of stopping with my 75 month old when he's around 120 months old. Gotta let them grow up eventually!

2, maybe a little before. I wouldn't call him my "23 month old".
