fever- do you wake them?

my 1 and half year old had a fever today and before she went to bed it had lowered so i didnt give her any more advil.. i just checked her temperature and its back up to 102.4.. shes sleeping fine but would you wake them to give them advil or let them sleep??

Tough one sometimes... I usually don't wake my son when he has a fever... The only times I did was when he was going over 103... They will wake up if they get too uncomfortable... You need to keep giving her the motrin/tylenol or the fevers will bounce back..

I would wake up to give meds.

For around there I usually don't. I go in and check them to make sure they aren't really hot. 104 yes I was them.

I never wake up my DD. I give her Advil before bed if she's had fevers all day then just let her sleep. More often then not if her fever really spikes and she's uncomfortable she wakes up on her own and I give her more medicine. If she sleeps through the night and wakes up in the morning with a fever, I give her meds at that time.

I only wake them if t goes over 103.5.

I wake DS for meds if his fever has gotten high during the day. One time that we didn't and let him nap, it got up to 105. I've been too nervous since!
