Upgrading electric
Does anyone know about how much it costs to upgrade your electric to 200amp service?

This is the ballpark estimate my buyers are always given. Around $2K. People put a lot of stock in having 200 amp service and sometimes get upset if they see lower amperage in a house. But it is not a huge expense to upgrade, and some houses are fine w 100 or 150 (a small house, for example, or if a lot of appliances run on gas).

I paid 1,800. It does NOT include re-wiring your exisiting serivice, if you need that. It's just the upgrade and home buyers now do look for that.
