DHEA Use
If you have used DHEA supplements, what difference/outcome have you noticed?
More Eggs/Follicles Better Quality? Does it lower FSH??
I asked my RE about his thoughts on it in general; and his answer was he thinks it could help. A little vague, but whatever. Is 25mg sufficient enough dosage?
Thanks!

Re: DHEA Use
I chose not to take DHEA after doing extensive reading. I had my DHEA level tested and it was within the normal range, so taking the supplement seemed even more risky to me. I did read, over and over, that 75mg (25mg 3x daily) was the preferred dosage. There are some unpleasant side effects, plus the fact that there are conflicting opinions about its effectiveness vs harmful effects.

Re: DHEA Use
Thank you for responding. Thats the thing I actually just had my DHEA level tested. And while it was within normal range; it was definitely on the low side. Not too far off from the low end of normal. That is why I was wondering to myself if I should even bother with a supplement. And if I am not mistaken, it takes quite a few months to actually make a difference, correct? It's not something you see with immediate results.
I am slightly Under 40; so I was a bit weary also. I was only looking at 25mg; Im not sure I'd be comfortable taking more.
I guess you helped me answer my own question. Thanks for your opinion.

My FSH went from 19 to 8.6 by doing acupuncture. Not sure if you do it but you should try. There are specific points mine worked on to specifically decrease FSH and it worked! As far as DHEA my dr didnt want me on it so I didnt do it.

Re: DHEA Use
One RE I saw pushed it. My new RE does not believe in it at all so I haven't taken it.

Re: DHEA Use
I have not used it based on my research. I however have been using wheatgrass and other supplements daily. My fsh went from 19.5 to 9.5, then to 7 this month.
