IUI with Clomid?
I've done 2 natural cycles unmedicated. Our diagnosis is borderline male IF (low sperm count). I have been doing some research into Clomid and am interested in starting it this upcoming cycle. I started spotting today and think tomorrow will be CD1. Do I have to make an appointment with my doctor to discuss this? I'm not sure when you start to take the actual pill -- is it realistic for me to do it this cycle? Any advice you can give about the process of starting Clomid would really be appreciated. I go to LIIVF and see Dr. Kenigsberg. Thanks, ladies!

Re: IUI with Clomid?
If you're going to take clomid, you need to see the RE around CD 3 of your new cycle. So call on the first day of full flow and they'll tell you when to come in. They'll do an ultrasound to make sure you don't have any cysts or anything and take blood to make certain you're not pregnant. If all is well you'll start the Clomid that day or soon after. A round of clomid is typically 5 days and starts on CD 3 or CD 5. So yes, you can definitely start this cycle if your RE thinks you're ready!
Good luck!

Yes and any big chain drug store should be able to fill the Clomid perscription immediately. So you don't have to worry about not having the perscription yet.

Just wanted to add- if your insurance doesn't cover it (like mine doesn't) I found it the cheapest at Target Pharmacy, it was $9. Good luck!
