Introducing Milk
My twins are going to be a year old in 2 weeks. I am just about out of formula and hate to buy more that is going to be a waste. I am just afraid of allergic reactions. They do have yogurt and have had cake and I know they have milk it in it and have had no reactions. I tried this the other night and my daughter loves the milk but my son is picky he will not drink it!!!! I think he knows its a change!! Any suggestions??? Should I put a little chocolate syrup in it to give it a little flavor? Stumped here!!!

Re: Introducing Milk
Did you slowly transition? We did 6 oz of formula and 1 oz of milk, each day until they were solely on milk. If there was a day we noticed one wasn't drinking we didn't increase the milk until we saw him drinking more. I think all in all it took about a week. GL!

Introducing Milk
Unless it is a lactose free formula, you'll be totally fine. Trust me, they'll love the taste so much, they'll wonder why you gave them formula at all, lol. I did a little mixed in at first, then by 12 months, it was half and half, then full milk by 13 months. They were fine!
