Can anyone recommend a good hotel to stay at in Boston with my Kids 7 and 3?

I'd stay near the aquarium.
It's walking distance from everything.
Base exact hotel on budget.

Agree... we stayed with DS at the Harborside Inn. Nothing extraordinarily fancy but it was near the Aquarium and Quincy Market
