Are gas and electric separate?
In Queens, con ed billed us for both gas and electric.
Is it different on LI? Am I to expect 2 different companies to bill me?

LIPA = PSE&G, more then likely, you will receive these bills on the same day or within 2 days of each other.

Re: Are gas and electric separate?
Yes because out here it's two different companies.
When I had gas, in my last house, I got the bill from National Grid.
Then, I got the bill from LIPA or now PSE&G for the electric part. They came very close together or on the same day, each month, but they are separate.
Now, I don't have gas. I have electric for the heat so I get one bill only from PSE&G... AKA the old LIPA lol.
