Photos for passport renewing in mail
Where is the easiest place to take a photo for passport? Is the expired passport, application with photo and check all you need to mail? I am traveling in 7 and a half weeks and have to decide whether to pay the extra $60 for expedite.

I would go to the post office.
They can do the picture and then you can have them process it/mail it in.
My post office takes appointments for that.

Thanks. I am on a time limit so was hoping to get it in next day or two. I called my post office and got the passport section to see how long wait is for apt and got a voicemail.

Go to the post office. They will give you an estimate of how long applications are currently taking to get returned. I did mine in March and got it back within two weeks, but I believe summer is a busier time.
Getting the photo done at the post office costs about $5 more than it would at CVS, but well worth it for convenience.
ETA - My post office was able to get me an appt the next day.

Try other post offices in surrounding towns too

Places like Walgreens and CVS do pics. Which reminds me, I need to get mine done.

Photos for passport renewing in mail
I sent mine in on May 19th - check was chased on May 23rd and received my passport on or about June 19 - 20
I also had to include my marriage license since I was changing my name

The pics is what holding me back from renewing mine.
I hate those damn pics.
And I Hate having a 17 year old in Walgreens taking a ****** picture of me while everyone on line stares at how ugly I look.
