Any suggestions to help Keratosis Pilaris
I have had it on my arms my whole life! Have you used anything that helps? I know it would only be a temporary solution, but would be nice for the summer.

Re: Any suggestions to help Keratosis Pilaris
I use a good exfoliating brush/gloves or scrub in the shower. Like really exfoliate the heck out of it (don't scrub it raw though lol). Then I use a thick unscented lotion after I get out of the shower. I find that exfoliating regularly stops it from even starting. Sometimes I slack and it comes back, but then it's gone once I start exfoliating again. If the bumps are really red, I use hydrocortizone or benedryl cream (whichever one I happen to have handy) and that gets rid of the redness. Don't pick at it. It makes it look 1000 times worse.

Cerave cream. I have tried every lotion under the sun, this is the only one that has helped me.

Eliminating or drastically cutting back on gluten can help diminish it. (if you're willing to do that).

The BEST thing is Gold Bond Rough and Bumpy. It's a moisturizer that comes in a tub and it works excellent.

Yes!!# I have had it forever. Got worse post partum and then went back to normal.
Changed my diet and now I eat less gluten and it's reduced significantly!!!

Re: Any suggestions to help Keratosis Pilaris
The only thing I tried which helped is the Mario Badescu papaya body lotion. It really smoothed my arms. But I haven't tried any of the other suggestions!
