Is it wrong to feel this way?

My DD is supposed to sell girl scout cookies in a store at our booth sale with other girls this weekend and I feel uncomfortable with having her participate. The coronavirus is my concern. We are not in a neighborhood on LI where it has been reported but you never know. We are signed up for one this weekend and another next month. What do I do?

Our leaders cancelled our booth sale for this weekend because they were uncomfortable with it and deemed it unnecessary.

I bet it will be cancelled. But, the bad thing is that if the troop already has the cookies, they will need to pay for them. In the end, that could end up costing the troop (or the parents) quite a bit!

Ours cancelled too. If you are uncomfortable, then tell the troop leaders you and your daughter will not be attending.

That's not true, you return all unsold ones to the cookie cupboard.

Unfortunately, that’s not how it is in Girl Scouts of Nassau County. Whatever you take, you pay for. I guess you’re in Suffolk.

Wow! Since everyone is home, maybe you can put them in a cart and walk around the neighborhood and just ring doorbells to sell them. This coronavirus has really affected so many things!

Can you do online sales?
I see people selling cookies on facebook all the time.

Oh you must not live in Suffolk County. We return all unsold cookies. That sucks!! I would never schedule a booth sale then!

I would do a walkabout in the neighborhood. Put gloves on so people don't freak the eff out though haha
