WWYD?

Okay ladies... i am almost 36 weeks pregnant and SO DONE! i am tired, my feet are so swollen and some days back is so bad it's hard to walk.

I have told my principal my last day will be June 5th as my doctor said he will give me a note anytime.

however, there are some days i feel great...today i had no issues at school. and now i am starting to feel bad about bowing out three weeks early and using 15 days from my sick bank. i will be paid until the end of the year and i will have about 13 days left in my bank that will roll over, but i just feel bad.

but then there are days i feel terrible and want to take the time off. also, i have disability insurance through my district and the sooner i leave school, the sooner i can start collecting the benefit (30 calendar days after my last day at work).

also, i have the class from hell and honestly, i am just fed up and out of steam.

WWYD????? Stay or go at this point? i am due July 4, but may go early because i may have to have a scheduled C-section.

Can you stay and the days you feel good, go in and the days you don't, call in sick? I worked up until the day I gave birth, so I am not a good reference, however, I know I am done at this point so I could only imagine how you feel.

i was due july 1 last year and worked until the last day of school because i wanted to save my sick and FMLA days. if i took off early, that would have been days i lost spending with my son when he was born.

if you're not going back to work, take off and don't worry. but if you need your 12 week FMLA and/or sick days, then i would suffer through it and try to go to the end of the year.

I was due July 6th with my second - scheduled for a c/s on june 28

I felt great the whole time, but on june 14th I was pulled to cover a kindergarten class and my b/p sky rocketed (LOL) I went home early and called my m/w. She is a tough woman and I was sure she was going to tell me I was fine and go back to work, but she said to take off. good thing I did, b/c I had DS a week later (6/22)
